A year-long Intro to Financial Accounting course designed to meet the standards of the city’s public schools will be offered to 400 selected juniors and seniors using Outlier.org’s dual enrollment course experience. The objective of the program, is to bring issues to light about self-awareness and vocation open doors inside the bookkeeping calling, as well as give down to earth monetary abilities to prevail in the work environment.

The Urban Assembly will assist in selecting the best educational institutions to offer the course. The CEO of the non-profit organization, David Adams, stated that Urban Assembly is looking into ways to organize the program in a college and career sequence, how students can get feedback from the class and use the materials, and how to make sure these classes can be integrated into what students are doing rather than needing to build a new space.
